Cynthia McKinney Ponders Presidential Run, Transdimensional Scorpions Eating Her Eyes
— Ace

"Don't hate the playah--
hate the JEWS."

She's not sure she can remain a Democrat.

After all, the Democrats refuse the repeal the, quote unquote, "Secret Evidence Act."

Although, to be honest, I'm not sure why Reason is snarking about her nascent candidacy. Is the problem that she's not insane enough?

1 Team her up with Ron Paul and you have the Dream Team, from the Twilight Zone of course.

2 She'll right in with the rest of the democrats running.

3 I dunno, she may have to pull the race card on St. Cindy, with the moonbats.

Posted by: Iblis at May 30, 2007 02:09 PM (9221z)

4 Please let her run as Democrat. Please let her run as Democrat.

I am in for $50 if she runs as a Democrat.

5 By Gollywog, let her run!

6

Is she for real?

Have Charles Manson and Frances Farmer's Corpse announced their candidacies yet?

7 Team her up with Cindy Sheehan.

Posted by: ro-ro at May 30, 2007 02:18 PM (8xCvb)

8 She's really going to cut into Mike Gravel's lock on the batshit crazy vote.

Posted by: Drew at May 30, 2007 02:18 PM (gNyUT)

9

She's shootin' for Hillary's VP.

Maybe I should rephrase that.

10 Like so many unelectables, their new occupation is "professional candidate." It pays relatively well, even if she runs as a radical (perhaps because she runs as a radical, aka antiestablishmentarianism [probably a real word]), and beats working for a living. Further, even after an election loss, they still have a job for the next round. It's a job that keeps on giving, and the only requirement is to have lots of opinions and a willingness to change them at the right time.

The "respectable" version of "professional candidate"? John Edwards. His degree of smarminess would put to shame the likes of McKinney. So would his haircuts.

11 She's shootin' for Hillary's VP.

Vagina Piñata, maybe. Vice President, not so much.

Easiest I.Q. test yet:

The ballot.

13 I would give $50 to see her run as a green.

It does, in fact, bring the boys into the yard.

19 She makes Carol Mosely-Braun look like a credible candidate.

20 This can only improve the Democrat field.  Really.

Posted by: HerrMorgenholz at May 30, 2007 03:48 PM (K/lgF)

21 She makes Rosie O'Donnell seem rational.

Posted by: wiserbud at May 30, 2007 03:49 PM (hp0Gj)

22 I would give $50 to see her run as a green.

Bitch'd take it, too.

23 Like so many unelectables, their new occupation is "professional candidate."

As Rush said in 2004, the only reason Sharpton ran was so from then on he could be introduced as "former Democrat presidential candidate" instead of "race warlord".

As Rush said in 2004, the only reason Sharpton ran was so from then on he could be introduced as "former Democrat presidential candidate" instead of "race warlord".

Also, Sharpton raised a lot of funds and stayed in the most expensive hotels of any candidate.

Still, I've always admired Sharpton's style.

Posted by: adolfo_velasquez at May 30, 2007 04:46 PM (JnPY/)

25 A lot of the hotels that Sharpton stayed at while campaigning are still waiting to get paid.

You gotta give these scam artists credit.  They take "shameless" to an amazing level.

26 This whole thread is much ado about a hairdo.

27 Is that a porcupine on her head or is she just glad to see me?

28 just signing on to make Kucinich and Paul seem like stable citizens.

29 I know that picture is chosen for it's particularly lunatic qualities, but... it has a certain Dorian Gray quality about it: showing the real person deep down that might not be apparent in person.

30

All I can say about her running is...

Rove, you magnificent bastard.

31 It took the GOP six years to decide they were tired of being the majority party.

Looks like it's taking the Democrats less than six months.

Posted by: richard mcenroe at May 30, 2007 08:13 PM (lCheg)

32 A Jesse Jackson/Cynthia McKinney ticket would be pure comedy gold.

Posted by: CAD Daddy at May 31, 2007 03:57 AM (U6x6j)

33

I would like to see a VP candidate McKinney debate a VP candidate Lieberman.

That would be delicious.
