Crist, What a Douchebag: Live Announcement
Holy Crist: He's Apparently Running on a "Hug Agenda"

— Ace

Via Hot Air.

So far he's playing Springsteen's Born in the USA Because he's like a patriot or something.

Okay -- now he's going to rock us.

Now it's Van Halen's "Right Now." It's a smoghastborg of stupidly obvious repurposed rock songs. Can you feel the excitement? Check out his tiny crowd. You can sure feel the adrenaline from them.

The Hug Agenda: His Democratic endorser kept mentioning hugging Charlie, and how wonderful it would be to hug the president.

"I'm Not Mad As Hell And I Probably Will Take It Some More!!!" His Democratic endorser also took a swipe at tea partiers, saying there's some "angry talk" that shouldn't be said, which makes Crist the insurgent, third-party candidate who's not angry and who wants to maintain the establishment status quo.

Interesting.

Plus, the song was brand-new when Reagan used it. Now, politicians have had a quarter-century to figure it out.

That was the whole meme of the Fox panel tonight. They all talked like that Obama rhetoric to drill actually meant he intended on drilling and now he was "embarrassed" and would have to change his mind.

It is impossible for Obama to be embarrassed. He is a congenital liar. They don't have an embarrassed gene.

Apparently, the SWAT team reference was another one of Obama's attempts to sound like he knows what he's talking about.

What he said was that the Interior Department has assembled "SWAT Teams" of inspectors who would be sent to inspect the other oil rigs in the area. You know, he's using terms that he thinks the little people can understand. That is, he's sending in some really bad-ass inspectors from the Interior Department who will hit the other oil rigs like the FBI at Ruby Ridge. Get it?

As for me, "SWAT Teams" from the Interior Department conjurs up an image of Park Rangers in canoes. But that's just me.

So power and political position means that much to Mr. Crist?  I mean, it isn't like he really has any ideological positions, or any other political positions that he is staunch for?  There aren't any political decisions who he will stand behind no matter what?

He isn't a Joe Lieberman, that is for sure.  At least Joe - when his party rejected him - stayed true to the decisions he made and why he made them.

Not in the least.  Its SOP for the UN.  The Human Rights Council typically contains some of the worst offenders of it.  If there was a UN Commission on Race Relations in the 1980's then South Africa would have had the committee chair.  It there was a Commission on Preventing Child Rape it would be run by mostly African nations.  Its like a game: Create a UN Department and pick the nations least likely to be on it, and those would actually be the ones there.
