Another Gaza Bridge Blown
— Ace

More interestingly to me-- Palestinian militants are said to be "massing" in northern Gaza.

I don't want to be a little New York Times fink, so I'll write the following in secret invisible ink. Llorcs-revo ot daer.

Got news for you: It's not smart for terrorists, who typically hide amidst civilian populations, to "mass" anywhere when the Israelis have F-16's in the air.

A Possible Third Bridge... mentioned on Fox.

4 It might end up like on that one video from Iraq where you see a crowd of thirty or so guys chasing after two marines hiding, and they all get slammed by a large bomb dropped from overhead. Not smart.

Like, highlight it.

6 Shit. Not good. Everytime the Israelis do the right thing we get blamed. I'd start watching the Left to see what they are saying about this.

19 "Once again, we can all recite from memory now: recognize Israel's right to exist, renounce terror, and abide by all past agreements. Those are the preconditions," Snow said in Washington.

So, how many times do we have to recite that from memory?

Am I missing something here?

I love the Jooooosssss!

21 This is going to drive Pat Robertson around the bend. Well, more so. And it's not going to end well for the palestinians. Israel has been incredibly patient (despite some really awful stuff they've done in the past) through what we would have demanded the entire region paved over.

22 How the heck did Ace do the "invisible ink" thing?

See, right there you can tell the difference between a seasoned blog professional and all the novices. I'm just sayin', I was impressed by that.

23 Operation Summer Rain.

Doesn't sound too ominous. I prefer Death & Destruction. I guess they mean Summer Rain in that it will clean out all of the dreck.

28 Let the games begin!

Well, now that tanks are rolling, I guess this means the terrorists are going to have to start recruiting teenage girls to throw rocks at the Israeli armor.

29 Speaking of hostages, why are the russians being pussies about the murdered diplomats? Didn't they used to run around cutting peoples dicks off for this sort of thing? It probably wouldn't hurt too much if they dropped a few spec. ops guys into Iraq for some payback.

Posted by: mike s. at June 27, 2006 03:17 PM (wFBkf)

30 mike s,

the Russians are too busy sprinting towards cultural suicide to install much fear anymore. The Soviets, they were fearsome; today's Russians, (other than the mafia) not so much.

31 Would,nt you like to do like from the movie BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KUWII? we wait till the are crossing it then when their all on it we blow it up and let hundreds of terrorists fall into the river and drown

Posted by: spurwing plover at June 27, 2006 03:49 PM (bzZNq)

32 True, Israel absorbs an awful lot before they hit back. More than anyone else with advantage would. The World still blames them, though.

Always seems a tad anti-climactic posting after the Plover.

33 Invisible ink = text same color as background color. You just need a monotone background and the color code for it. For example, white is #FFFFFF (or you can use the word white, for most browsers) so a word in white would not show up until you mouse over it. In this case the background is gray so you'd need to find the code for that color (#C0C0C0 is close in this case).

Prediction: no matter what Israel does here, the world will condemn them and the UN will issue various resolutions against Israel while ignoring what the palestinians do and have done.

36 OK, here is my prediction. 100 moon god worshippers dead by 0800hrs central American time, and 175 wounded. I hope I am wrong, and it is more like 1000 moon god worshippers dead.

I will buy my candy tonight, and dance in the street 28 June 2006.

37 Well it was a pretty easy prediction, but I'm less bold these days.

38 Ita about daym time that Israel tells Condi to piss off, what have the "peacefull" negotitations earned for Israel but more and more rocket attacks, murders and now kidnappings.

Let the Israelis do what they do best, destroy Islams "brave lions of Allaham" into the sands that they seem to want as their graves. The Israelis are about to give the American army and marines a lesson in how to truly wage war on youre enemy.

No PC bullshit and no playing nicey nicey with cowardly mass murderers.

46 Not to be a total war-porn geek, but the Sidewinder (AIM-9 for all of us war geeks) is air-to-air only... nonetheless, the AGM-65 Maverick in its IR (or heat-seeking) variant is a lot of fun... makes a hell of a mess.

49 "Collective Punishment".

That's the Palestinian buzzword of the day. They think it's all well and good to lob unaimed rockets into civilian areas, but shriek and wail when Israel isn't surgical enough.
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas condemned the Israeli strikes and incursions as “collective punishment and a crime against humanity.”
No apparent problem with this, though:
The situation was complicated by the apparent kidnapping of a second Israeli, a young West Bank settler. A spokesman for the Palestinian Popular Resistance Committees showed a photocopy of the identity card of the 18-year old, who has been missing for several days. The group threatened to kill the settler if Israel continued its operation in the Gaza Strip.
