Another predictable occurrence:

A pre-existing condition health insurance program established by Obamacare is already straining its own budget and, to control costs, the administrationÂ’s Health and Human Services Department (HHS) has stopped enrolling any new people in the program, according to an audit by the General Accountability Office (GAO).

In addition, to further control spending, HHS has directed the program to shift more of the costs onto the current enrollees, thus raising the out-of-pocket health care expenses for the people with pre-existing conditions.

86 We need to start figuring out what to do when someone on our side losses his shit over this crap and kills one or more of these IRS scumbags, and I don't just mean these 88 either. I would suggest we take a page out of the lefties own playbook. While we are saddened by the loss of life...blame the evil lefties for pushing the killer to such extremes. We need to fight fire with fire. At some point it might even become necessary to learn to look the other way and to keep our mouths shut about things we see and hear even if the ones saying and doing aren't exactly our best friends.

Don't get greedy.  The big fish are all too well connected politically and the big guys will protect their own.  Lets put these 88 low level people in PMITA prison.  Obama will not spend any of his political capital to protect them.   They will tell their stories about how the higher ups told them to break the law and abuse government power but as long as the Democrats are in power, only the little guys will be punished for the crimes that they did, in fact, commit.

Posted by: Lizzy at May 31, 2013 02:11 PM (NDNbv)

93 The sub for Rush yesterday (Doug Urbanski) said that the head of the IRS Union (something I've found out since this scandal broke is that the mofos in the IRS are Unionized, I didn't know that before) met with Obama right after he issued an executive order giving IRS employees more power. Yes, our dear leader gave Public Union employees more power. I can only assume this was a directive for these few rogue 88 agents (I'm betting there are more) to specifically target any group who disagreed politically with Obama. And yes, the 900 dealerships are all part of this scheme to reward campaign donors and punish the enemy. It's all connected, and it was all done at Obama's behest. It's the Chi-town way, which is a lot more corrupt than Chinatown, and Noah Cross is a rank amateur in comparison to Obama.

115 Not to go all Godwin on the thread, but how 'bout this little irony from the ADL: The eighth letter of the alphabet is "H." Eight two times signifies "HH, " shorthand for the Nazi greeting, "Heil Hitler." 88 is often found on hate group flyers, in both the greetings and closing comments of letters written by neo-Nazis, and in e-mail addresses.

117 "Brett Baier also covering the IRS' self-indulgent extravagant 'training' videos." Posted by: zsas One of the problems with public employees is their view that there is a never ending supply of taxpayer money. Doesn't matter whether it's teachers, political appointees, presidents, congress persons, or the people who clean government buildings. The attitude is very different from people who work for a private business. When your employer is private, you know that they could go belly up and you will have no income. I've known people who are teachers, who work for local, county, state, and federal agencies. They all think the same. I actually heard someone who worked for Community Mental Health say, "If we don't spend the money before the end of the year, we'll get less in our budget next year. So we got out the catalogues. " I told this story to a principal and she said, " Well, yes, that's how it works." They really don't think there is anything wrong with wasting taxpayer money.

118 Neo-Nazis use the number 88 as a code to represent the slogan Heil Hitler The letter H is eighth in the alphabet, so 88 is meant to stand for HH. A Personality number eight child will appear ambitious, determined and goal oriented. They are also sometimes thought to be materialistic. Eights are also seen to have an ability to sense trends and therefore do well in games of chance or the stock market.

155 Obnoxious A-hole @88 has the answer.  A government job is normally employment for life.  Only by threatening that can we hope to reign in the abuses.  Don't try to follow it to the top, bag a hundred or two low level employees and the rest will get the message.  The message is that they can be fired, the bosses ordering this crap can't.  So the only way to save your job is to grab enough documents to blow the lid and email em to Breitbart.com when you get ordered to do this sort of thing in the future.

So long as nobody gets fired this is going to continue.  And now that it is out in the open, if it continues it is going to dry up all opposition to the regime in a hurry.  The window of time to do something about this is very short.

Time to go for it.  A bill to deunionise the entire Federal Government.  And when the Senate won't allow it to come to the floor make it the centerpiece of the 2014 elections.  Massive, systemic profiling and abuse of ordinary middle class citizens by an out of control government by union thugs, and *fill in D in red state running for reelection* is working with Harry Reid to cover for them and continue the outrages.

If we push hard enough we might also be able to use it to make a few otherwise meh uncommitted voters see that the current tax code is designed to enable this sort of abuse and that only a vastly simplifed tax code can fix the problem.

197 I'd still love to know if my audit, loss, appeal rejection, and large bill hard anything to do with the stuff I sent to the flag@whitehouse.gov email or my Facebooking and blogging. That's the worst part of this. No way to prove a negative, and I just have to deal with the doubt that someone working for the same government I do pasted a bulls-eye on me then pulled a financial trigger.

I'll pay it. I don't have the resources to fight it and it's not big enough to qualify for the big tax resolution deals advertised on the conservative talk radio channels. But I won't fucking like it. Thanks for your ten years' active duty time, you now owe us half that separation payment from four years ago.

Fuckers.
