But that conflicted with The Narrative. Which is now, officially, hate speech.

Your country can't provide health care to all its citizens. It fucks up it's own financial markets and threatens to turn the world on its ass. In fact, you did the same in the Great Depression where not only was there a normal problem with the business cycle, you passed protectionist trade laws that halted trade around the word, deepening the Depression, and also doubling your own unemployment.

We're in the middle of electing a conservative government again as our flailing leftist parties battle for second place. You are about to put in power a leftist radical with domestic terrorist friends (domestic: worst kind when you think about it) who has megalomaniac narcissistic tendencies and likes to use prosecutors and police to intimidate his political opponents. You country and even your President are letting yourselves be sucked into a manufactured crisis created by the Dems in congress and the corrupt Marxist in the Treasury. Your probable new President wants to create a "civillian" national security beaurocracy with manpower, budget, and equipment equal to the Pentagon.

ABC and the majority of your media are more corrupt than ever, and our national broadcaster very accurately announced its problem with bias in all areas of operation and reporting and intends to add more conservative voices in and out of the actual newsrooms.

In short, you're screwed and my country's rocking.

I've seen people say that it's because of links being inserted, but i've had comments with and without links deleted and i always see pro-obama comments with links.

Usually I can't figure out why exactly they got deleted, but definitely if you disagree with Jake they'll deleted them.
Once he completely misread Hitchen's review of Doug Feith's book, and wrote that Feith blamed Bush for all kinds of stuff.
ABC kept deleting the corrections from me and several others (dicentra and SarahW, I think) and didn't correct the egregiously wrong blog post.

I still like PP, but they need to state their comments policy. Does Jake even read the comments, do you think?

About a year ago, ABC's "Political Radar" news/blog posted Z. Byron Wolf's "Bidding Over $2M for Dems Anti-Rush Letter" [October 19, 2007] which was supposed to report on Rush Limbaugh's support of the troops and Reid's dishonest comments about Rush. The public called them out on the dishonest reportage that defended Reid's dishonesty and kept the smear against Rush. Conseqently, either Wolf, an editor, or the webmaster returned every few hours (over a period of days) to a) change the story without noting the changes, b) edit posts that disagreed with the Left position, and c) completely deleted others that critiqued Wolf's "facts" and Reid.

It was quite a spectacle.

I don't know if the "Political Radar" is now known as the "Political Punch" or if they each exist simultaneously since I quit visiting ABC when I noticed its dishonesty, but it would seem their publishing guidelines have not changed or they remain universal... namely, "Screw the conservatives."
